Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sven-Ove Smitt made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes, Jonas Sjöberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Degeberga and the Ängelholm FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Degeberga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Sjöberg to maneuver through the defense. Per-Åke Henriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Degeberga's Sven-Ove Smitt got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Ove Smitt in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Börge Nyqvist saved Ängelholm FK from getting behind. Michael Melander's late challenge caught a Ängelholm FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Melander helped the player get up and apologised. Michael Melander kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Verner Snell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingvar Bergqvist struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Stefan Falkrantz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ängelholm FK. Michael Melander got his second yellow card in the match during the 21st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Michael Melander kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes, Ängelholm FK's Karl-Magnus Österlund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stefan Falkrantz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ängelholm FK reached it. Per-Åke Henriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börge Nyqvist having to interfere. Jonas Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Per-Åke Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Börge Nyqvist made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Per-Åke Henriksson sent off a good shot on target. Per-Åke Henriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Börge Nyqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sven-Ove Smitt came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Degeberga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Ove Smitt couldn't finish the play. Per-Åke Henriksson struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Degeberga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Ove Smitt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Apelqvist was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Per-Åke Henriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th match minute, Ängelholm FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Olof Brask to maneuver through the defense. Börge Nyqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per-Åke Henriksson's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. If Per-Åke Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Gabriel Apelqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ängelholm FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Apelqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stefan Falkrantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Apelqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Martin Kollberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Börge Nyqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per-Åke Henriksson's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Börge Nyqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Åke Henriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Falkrantz came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Ängelholm FK's Verner Snell. But to his dismay, Verner Snell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. During the 88th minute of the match Bengt Målare completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bengt Målare a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Ängelholm FK's Bengt Målare got a free kick in the 89th minute.
