Gabriel Apelqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Axel Törnkvist having to interfere. Karl-Axel Törnkvist was a little too slow when Verner Snell got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 27th minute, Gabriel Apelqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt Målare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Karl-Axel Törnkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Ängelholm FK got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Magnus Österlund. Algot Classon took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Börge Nyqvist. Börge Nyqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 43rd minute, Pontus Sundberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Börge Nyqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.

Ängelholm FK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Algot Classon 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Ängelholm FK's Bengt Målare got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 57 minutes, Ingvar Bergqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ängelholm FK and the Järbo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Ingvar Bergqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Ängelholm FK's goalkeeper Börge Nyqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Algot Classon. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Pontus Sundberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Stefan Nyberg kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Gabriel Apelqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Axel Törnkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verner Snell in the 68th minute of play. Ängelholm FK were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Järbo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Karl-Magnus Österlund took the corner. Verner Snell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Axel Törnkvist having to make a save. Gabriel Apelqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Verner Snell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Axel Törnkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After 87 played minutes Järbo got a freekick which was hit by Lars-Erik Gadd. If Gabriel Apelqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pontus Sundberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Börge Nyqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Pontus Sundberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Järbo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
