After 22 minutes, Gustav Pettersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Järbo and the Brooklyn Tigers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute Jens Pååk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Axel Törnkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Brooklyn Tigers's zone, Algot Classon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Arne Björck came out of the goal and Algot Classon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Axel Törnkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Hellsing, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Pontus Sundberg hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Pååk in the 33rd minute of play forced Järbo's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Törnkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Brooklyn Tigers booed when Järbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Bruhn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brooklyn Tigers's Patrik Hellsing got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per-Arne Björck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 94 minutes into the match, Brooklyn Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Pontus Sundberg came free, but Per-Arne Björck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
