A collision led to IFK Björnen getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Marko Lund hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Rolf Hagström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th match minute, IFK Björnen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Nyman to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Spoke Island F.C.'s Rolf Hagström got a free kick in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Marko Lund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Björnen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spoke Island F.C. the free kick. In the 15th minute, Marko Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt-Rune Blomquist came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Spoke Island F.C.'s Rolf Hagström. But to his dismay, Rolf Hagström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Bengt-Rune Blomquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Hagström in the 22nd minute of play. Bengt-Rune Blomquist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doru Maniu went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Spoke Island F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arman Berggren came free, but Gelu Negrescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Rune Blomquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Haglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt-Rune Blomquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Hagström in the 37th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Leif Nyman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gelu Negrescu. That made the score 1-3 in the 39 minute of play. Leif Nyman hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Doru Maniu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Rolf Hagström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Blomquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Maniu in the 52nd minute of play forced IFK Björnen's goalkeeper Bengt-Rune Blomquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Rune Blomquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Hagström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolf Hagström in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Rune Blomquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 56 minutes into the match, Marc Asklöv notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of IFK Björnen's Bengt-Rune Blomquist. Bengt-Rune Blomquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolf Hagström in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Rune Blomquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute, Spoke Island F.C.'s Marc Asklöv ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bengt-Rune Blomquist. Bengt-Rune Blomquist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doru Maniu during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, Doru Maniu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arman Berggren in the 69th minute of play forced Spoke Island F.C.'s goalkeeper Gelu Negrescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isak Fribäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt-Rune Blomquist stood somewhat misplaced when Rolf Hagström came free in front of goal and shot 1-6 to the left of him in the 75 minute. In the 82nd minute Rolf Hagström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Blomquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Spoke Island F.C.'s Doru Maniu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bengt-Rune Blomquist. Bengt-Rune Blomquist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Doru Maniu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Bengt-Rune Blomquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Leonardo Melander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Rolf Hagström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Blomquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Rune Blomquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Asklöv, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. A collision led to Spoke Island F.C. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Doru Maniu hit a great ball. Spoke Island F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
