Hede BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Björnen the free kick. A collision led to Hede BF getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Daniel Hedlund hit a great ball. Wictor Brandt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Blomquist having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hede BF's zone, Arman Berggren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Finman came out of the goal and Arman Berggren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Marko Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Sundin in the 20th minute of play forced IFK Björnen's goalkeeper Bengt-Rune Blomquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arman Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert Finman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Berggren, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Tomas Sundin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hede BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Sundin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wictor Brandt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt-Rune Blomquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aleksander Löfkvist during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Henry Tillman didn't quite understand what happened when in the 44 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arman Berggren was the one to do the kick off. Tomas Sundin kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Evert Finman made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Arman Berggren sent off a good shot on target. Leif Nyman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 63rd playminute. Tomas Sundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleksander Löfkvist hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Arman Berggren managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Björnen's supporters rose to their feet, but Arman Berggren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert Finman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arman Berggren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evert Finman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Hede BF's Evert Finman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Hede BF from getting a goal against them. In the 84thth minute of the game Tomas Sundin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Björnen's Bengt-Rune Blomquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wictor Brandt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Blomquist having to interfere. IFK Björnen played a much better game than Hede BF and deserved their victory. The Hede BF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
