Oxelösund IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hermansby IF the free kick. 28 minutes into the match, Oxelösund IK's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Smitt came free, but Leonardo Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Oxelösund IK got a freekick which was hit by Sune Wallengren. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Wallengren in the 32nd minute of play forced Hermansby IF's goalkeeper Karl Forsell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Forsell had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Torbjörn Gullesson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Oxelösund IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvid Ström to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oxelösund IK's goalkeeper Leonardo Holmgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
