Albert Widberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Gilbert Dahlkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as MAZ 62's George Ekeroth slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcus Sjögren. That made the score 1-0 after 48 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Marcus Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Ekeroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Karamellpojkarna BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Sandberg came free, but Marcus Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Sjögren came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by MAZ 62's Ralf Sandberg. But to his dismay, Ralf Sandberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A hard shot 69 in the game by John Klementsson from a close distance when the talented Albert Widberg managed to make a qualified save. MAZ 62's players were relieved. In the 73rd match minute, MAZ 62 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Ekeroth to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Sjögren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The MAZ 62 fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when MAZ 62's George Ekeroth looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to MAZ 62 getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Hugo Kilstedt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcus Sjögren. Karamellpojkarna BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jim Asplund kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. MAZ 62's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
