The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Karamellpojkarna BK's John Klementsson got a free kick in the 10th minute. The supporters of Björkliden booed when Karamellpojkarna BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Asplund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Alfons Billberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcus Sjögren. Björkliden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karamellpojkarna BK the free kick. Elliot Sävström kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If John Klementsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alfons Billberg fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Björkliden's protests and gave Alfons Billberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, Björkliden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfons Billberg to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfons Billberg to make the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Karamellpojkarna BK's Ramon van der Gouw made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christer Gulliksson was left in no man's land by his defense there!
