Spectators: 7146 (Terracing: 5454, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 20) Bo Pettersson made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 played minutes Huaröd IFK got a freekick which was hit by Börge Klemensson. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Huaröd IFK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tor Danielsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Once Caldas's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Åke Olofsson in the 9th minute of play forced Huaröd IFK's goalkeeper Karl-Magnus Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bo Pettersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joachim Pil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Stig-Arne Bäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Magnus Eliasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Huaröd IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börge Klemensson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 19 minutes, Stig-Arne Bäck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Once Caldas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Arne Bäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Stig-Arne Bäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Once Caldas's Stig-Arne Bäck got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Edvard Adelsköld's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Magnus Eliasson was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Bäck in the 27th minute of play forced Huaröd IFK's goalkeeper Karl-Magnus Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvin Mårtensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Huaröd IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Arne Bäck came free, but Karl-Magnus Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joachim Pil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Pettersson in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Stig-Arne Bäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Once Caldas's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Arne Bäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Magnus Eliasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edvard Adelsköld made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Arne Bäck got free with Karl-Magnus Eliasson in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stig-Arne Bäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Karl-Magnus Eliasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Leonardo Sikström fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huaröd IFK's protests and gave Leonardo Sikström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Huaröd IFK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Leonardo Sikström hit a great ball. Joachim Pil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Pettersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Joachim Pil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edvin Mårtensson went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Karl-Magnus Eliasson made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Stig-Arne Bäck sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Edvin Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huaröd IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvin Mårtensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joachim Pil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Huaröd IFK fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Huaröd IFK's Bo Pettersson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joachim Pil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Pettersson in the 80th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Once Caldas got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Hedlund. 83 minutes into the game, Huaröd IFK's Edvin Mårtensson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joachim Pil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Bo Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Once Caldas's Joachim Pil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvin Mårtensson in the 94th minute of play.
