Gunnar Högman made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Dennis Wallman sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute of the match Jan Petersson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gunnar Högman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Gunnar Högman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dennis Wallman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Högman having to interfere. After some careless play in the Järved FC defense, Dan Gustavsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Melander. The Järved FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Melander should have stopped the shot. Dennis Wallman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Gunnar Högman 27 minutes into the match. Järved FC's Ian Melander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Gustavsson in the 31st minute of play. If Dennis Wallman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Högman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Wallman in the 36th minute. Gunnar Högman was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Jan-Åke Kuse capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan-Åke Kuse really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Ian Melander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Gustavsson in the 42nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dennis Wallman got free with Gunnar Högman in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dan Gustavsson's late challenge caught a Järved FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Gustavsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 48 played minutes Korsberga got a freekick which was hit by Dan Gustavsson. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dennis Wallman made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Korsberga's Jan-Ove Björk got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Gunnar Högman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Wallman in the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 minutes of play, Järved FC's Jan-Åke Kuse made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Högman was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59thth minute of the game Dennis Wallman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Korsberga's Gunnar Högman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Melker Sjöström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Korsberga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Järved FC the free kick. After 60 played minutes Korsberga got a freekick which was hit by Melker Sjöström. In the 66thth minute Olov Skarkman easily got through Korsberga's defense and fired away a shot, but Gunnar Högman leaped left and performed a fabulous save. Jan-Åke Kuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Högman having to interfere. Gunnar Högman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Wallman in the 73rd minute of the match. Korsberga's Gunnar Högman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Göransson in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Korsberga's goalkeeper Gunnar Högman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan-Åke Kuse kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Dennis Wallman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Högman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Kuse in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Vincent Alebeck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Korsberga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Järved FC the free kick. After 92 played minutes Korsberga got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Alebeck. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Järved FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Korsberga had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
