An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Willig in the 8th minute of play forced Hasselbacken BK's goalkeeper Jarl Apelquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hasselbacken BK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Thomas Nord hit a great ball. Evert Willig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jarl Apelquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Åke Kellbom struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Jarl Apelquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dalvik FF. Jarl Apelquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Willig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Hasselbacken BK's Wictor Bolander got a free kick in the 29th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wictor Bolander during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Wictor Bolander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wictor Bolander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Nord in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andy Martinsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thomas Nord to make the kick off. In the 62nd match minute, Dalvik FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Ekrot to maneuver through the defense. Filiph Ahlin might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andy Martinsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filiph Ahlin ran back to his position shaking his head. Thomas Nord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Martinsson having to interfere. Dalvik FF's Andy Martinsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Dalvik FF from getting a goal against them. When Thomas Nord came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Hasselbacken BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Nord couldn't finish the play. Wictor Bolander struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wictor Bolander got free with Andy Martinsson in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hasselbacken BK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
