Aleksander Bergfeldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Gabrielsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute Aleksander Bergfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Gabrielsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nils-Åke Godholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sune Hellström struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nils-Åke Godholm to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match was over Katrineholm could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skyttorp FK throughout the match.
