After a defensive mix-up in Joga Bonito's zone, Ingvar Karlstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Erik Trulsson came out of the goal and Ingvar Karlstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ingvar Karlstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Nils-Erik Trulsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingvar Karlstedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Nils-Erik Trulsson made a huge save. In the 16th match minute, Joga Bonito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Bollström to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Joga Bonito getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Elliot Pettersson hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Ove Engman made a precise shot to the right of Nils-Erik Trulsson. Joga Bonito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Ingvar Karlstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Erik Trulsson having to interfere. In the 24th minute William Pihlwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Bohlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Simp FC booed when Joga Bonito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. William Pihlwall was the one to do the kick off. Simp FC's Mikael Örn got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marko Bohlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Pihlwall in the 54th minute of the match. Nils-Erik Trulsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Engman, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When Kjell Eklund fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joga Bonito's protests and gave Kjell Eklund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Joga Bonito's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Trulsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Simp FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
