Spectators: 6679 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mats Stenberg started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Leksand BF getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Mats Stenberg hit a great ball. After a good free kick, Mats Stenberg got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Brålanda. In the 8th minute Mats Stenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertil Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Arhenius hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th match minute, Brålanda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Lindblom to maneuver through the defense. Magnus Mossberg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mats Stenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Larsson having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Brålanda's David Vesterberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bertil Säf narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 19 played minutes Brålanda got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Arhenius. David Vesterberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Brålanda's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Edvard Svensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertil Säf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvard Svensson in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Leksand BF's Jan-Erik Nässén got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brålanda's goalkeeper Bertil Larsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brålanda's Edvard Svensson got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Jens-Erik Algren put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bertil Larsson. In the 44th minute, Gustav Lindblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Leksand BF were awarded a corner. Magnus Mossberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Leksand BF's Jens-Erik Algren was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bertil Larsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Jens-Erik Algren hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Vesterberg in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertil Säf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jan-Erik Nässén fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leksand BF's protests and gave Jan-Erik Nässén a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Jan-Erik Nässén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertil Säf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Svensson in the 58th minute of the match. David Vesterberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertil Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Stenberg in the 66th minute of play. Gustav Lindblom got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 68 played minutes Brålanda got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Lindblom. Edvard Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Säf having to interfere. If David Vesterberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvard Svensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edvard Svensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Brålanda manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Leksand BF to win.
