The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bo Ånger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 14 minutes of play, Brålanda's Edvard Svensson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bo Ånger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bo Ånger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Vesterberg in the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, David Vesterberg made a precise shot to the right of Bo Ånger. Vårby IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Bo Ånger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Svensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Edvard Svensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bo Ånger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Vesterberg's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. When David Vesterberg came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Brålanda fans jumped to their feet. Bo Ånger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Arhenius in the 38th minute of play. If David Vesterberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Vesterberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Vesterberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Edvard Svensson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Bo Ånger skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edvard Svensson might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bo Ånger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edvard Svensson ran back to his position shaking his head. Bo Ånger was a little too slow when David Vesterberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-4. David Vesterberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bo Ånger came out and tried to block the shot, but David Vesterberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 65th minute. After 68 played minutes Brålanda got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Arhenius. Bernt Arhenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bo Ånger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Vesterberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 71 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vårby IF's zone, David Vesterberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo Ånger came out of the goal and David Vesterberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bo Ånger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Vesterberg in the 78th minute of the match. Ulf Ivarsson shot the penalty kick right outside the post. John Sillén hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Bo Ånger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Vesterberg in the 95th minute of play. In the 98th minute, David Vesterberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
