Skillinge RK's Jimmie Grelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Christoffersson in the 22nd minute of play. If Kenny Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Jörgen Mossberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmie Grelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Magnus Lundhberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Milan's Simon Mellbad was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Jörgen Mossberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kenny Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. AC Milan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Carl Christoffersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jimmie Grelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Mellbad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Fastesson in the 92nd minute of play. Carl Christoffersson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 98th minute. AC Milan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match was over AC Milan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skillinge RK throughout the match.
