Torsten Hagström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Mellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 played minutes FC Rasovac got a freekick which was hit by Viggo Forsell. After 18 minutes, Dick Fågel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Rasovac and the Gislaved RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dick Fågel hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The long shot by Emanuel Rosendal in the 19th minute really tested Torsten Hagström's skills. But to his dismay, Joachim Mellberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Emanuel Bålström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linus Persson having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Joachim Mellberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Hagström was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Michel Kilman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Torsten Hagström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gislaved RK had won after a very even match.
