Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Max Vester started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Krister Johansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Kilman in the 9th minute. Gini Mino Mane Mo's Krister Johansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Mellberg in the 12th minute of play. If Michel Kilman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tom Frisk's late challenge caught a Gislaved RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tom Frisk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Gini Mino Mane Mo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Frisk to maneuver through the defense. Gislaved RK's Emanuel Rosendal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gini Mino Mane Mo. Michel Kilman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krister Johansson having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Gini Mino Mane Mo got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Abrahamsson. Joachim Mellberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Krister Johansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joachim Mellberg ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute Joachim Mellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krister Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes Gini Mino Mane Mo got a freekick which was hit by Tom Frisk. When Michel Kilman came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Gislaved RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Kilman couldn't finish the play. Joachim Mellberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Krister Johansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After 42 minutes, Simon Hurtig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gini Mino Mane Mo and the Gislaved RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Simon Hurtig hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Michel Kilman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joachim Mellberg to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joachim Mellberg in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krister Johansson saved Gini Mino Mane Mo from getting behind. Agne Bållström thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Krister Johansson, a very annoying self made goal in the 55th minute which led to 1-0. Michel Kilman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gini Mino Mane Mo's Max Vester in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gislaved RK's goalie prevented a goal. Gislaved RK's Michel Kilman got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Hurtig kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Joachim Mellberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th match minute, Gini Mino Mane Mo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agne Bållström to maneuver through the defense. If Michel Kilman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Agne Bållström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Michel Kilman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albin Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linus Persson having to interfere. Joachim Mellberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krister Johansson having to interfere. Albin Åström struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Linus Persson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gini Mino Mane Mo. Krister Johansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Kilman in the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Gislaved RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Mellberg to maneuver through the defense.
