Viggo Forsell kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Douglas Nordin fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Rasovac's protests and gave Douglas Nordin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Rasovac getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Douglas Nordin hit a great ball. If Lucio Mincho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th match minute, FC Rasovac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Lindberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Lucio Mincho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Hagström was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Douglas Nordins short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Manfred Fribäck to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. FC Rasovac's Torsten Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Mincho in the 34th minute of play. Dick Fågel's late challenge caught a Mariebergs FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dick Fågel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Dick Fågel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Alex Julin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Emanuel Bålström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 played minutes FC Rasovac got a freekick which was hit by Viggo Forsell. After the first half Mariebergs FF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Julin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucio Mincho had several of the FC Rasovac's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Torsten Hagström as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 55th minute, Christoffer Vesterberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 57 minutes, Mattias Örtendahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Rasovac's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Örtendahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th match minute, FC Rasovac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Örtendahl to maneuver through the defense. If Emanuel Bålström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stellan Rosendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Mariebergs FF's Alex Julin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torsten Hagström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 75 minutes of play FC Rasovac's Viggo Forsell was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to FC Rasovac getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Viggo Forsell hit a great ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Alex Julin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Rasovac's Torsten Hagström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Alex Julin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariebergs FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Julin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariebergs FF played a much better game than FC Rasovac and deserved their victory. The FC Rasovac players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
