Gislaved RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mariebergs FF the free kick. Emanuel Rosendal kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Lucio Mincho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 12 minutes, Lucio Mincho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariebergs FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Mincho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Julin struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Linus Persson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mariebergs FF. In the 17th minute, Lucio Mincho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Alex Julin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Linus Persson. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. After 25th play minutes Alex Julin shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Linus Persson and just under the crossbar into goal. Lucio Mincho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Linus Persson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Mariebergs FF's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Kilman came free, but Manfred Fribäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Kilman took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manfred Fribäck. Manfred Fribäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Lars Jakobsson fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mariebergs FF's protests and gave Lars Jakobsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gislaved RK booed when Mariebergs FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Jakobsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Allan Kvick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Julin struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Linus Persson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mariebergs FF. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gislaved RK!

When Michel Kilman came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Gislaved RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Kilman couldn't finish the play. In the 56thth minute of the game Alex Julin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gislaved RK's Linus Persson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Julin in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Linus Persson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michel Kilman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Manfred Fribäck made a huge save. In the 64th minute, Lucio Mincho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mariebergs FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When Mariebergs FF's Lucio Mincho in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alex Julin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linus Persson having to interfere. After 88 played minutes, Mariebergs FF's Viktor Vallgren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Linus Persson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mariebergs FF reached it. Mariebergs FF's Lucio Mincho got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Mariebergs FF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
