Spectators: 7281 (Terracing: 5463, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nereo Fertus got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Björnberg in the 3rd minute of play forced Billes FC's goalkeeper Svante Bure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikael Björnberg in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Svante Bure prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mikael Björnberg took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Svante Bure. Svante Bure dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Fertus got free with Gustav Hedin in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16 minutes of play, Ljungskile's Olle Bruhn made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Svante Bure was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olle Bruhn in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Svante Bure saved Billes FC from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Billes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Björnberg came free, but Svante Bure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Ljungskile got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Björnberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikael Björnberg in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Svante Bure saved Billes FC from getting behind. Nereo Fertus kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Svante Bure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olle Bruhn, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Nereo Fertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billes FC's Svante Bure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Björnberg in the 43rd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Dick Högman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olle Bruhn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svante Bure having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mikael Björnberg was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Fertus in the 53rd minute of play forced Ljungskile's goalkeeper Gustav Hedin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Tage Olsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Svante Bure, 0-3. Billes FC's Svante Bure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Ennegren in the 57th minute of play. Svante Bure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tage Olsson in the 60th minute of the match. Tage Olsson kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Svante Bure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Björnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Svante Bure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Johnsson in the 69th minute of play. Svante Bure came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Ljungskile's Tage Olsson. But to his dismay, Tage Olsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 74 minutes into the match, Billes FC's goalkeeper Svante Bure had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörgen Ennegren. In the 76th minute of the match, Olle Bruhn got a very nice opportunity to score, but Svante Bure was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jörgen Ennegren hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Nereo Fertus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustav Hedin having to make a save. Olle Bruhn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svante Bure having to interfere. With a little luck, Billes FC's Svante Bure got control of the ball when Per-Åke Fredriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Ljungskile players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
