Älta RK:s Charles Lindgren showed great skill when he stopped Magne Vallman:s penalty. After 12 played minutes Ödsmål got a freekick which was hit by Magne Vallman. After some careless play in the Älta RK defense, Ted Vestlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charles Lindgren. The Älta RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charles Lindgren should have stopped the shot. Kenneth Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Vestlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ted Vestlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Lindgren having to interfere. Kenneth Sandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Lindgren having to interfere. The Ödsmål fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Ödsmål's Kenneth Sandberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 44th minute, Anton Mellbad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Älta RK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ödsmål were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ted Vestlund to strike the kick off in the second half. Charles Lindgren was a little too slow when Kenneth Sandberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-3. Ted Vestlund struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Charles Lindgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ödsmål. Charles Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenneth Sandberg in the 59th minute of the match. Kenneth Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Charles Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilgot Lindman hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Kenneth Sandberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kenneth Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ted Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Älta RK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adrian Mogren in the 79th minute. Charles Lindgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magne Vallman in the 80th minute. Ted Vestlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Charles Lindgren made a huge save. A hard shot 85 in the game by Ted Vestlund from a close distance when the talented Charles Lindgren managed to make a qualified save. Älta RK's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Ödsmål's Tommy Västerstrand got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Adrian Mogren, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ödsmål played a much better game than Älta RK and deserved their victory. The Älta RK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
