In the 8th minute, Jens-Ove Källberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 played minutes, Älta RK's Adrian Mogren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Einar Tunström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Älta RK reached it. Örebro SK's Alvar Tingberg got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Älta RK's Charles Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Lundkvist in the 20th minute of play. Karl-Ove Lundkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Ian Valström suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 41 minutes, Alvar Tingberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Örebro SK and the Älta RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alvar Tingberg hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Älta RK's Adrian Mogren got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. Charles Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Gudmundsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Frank Arenius came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Einar Tunström could save by the left post. In the 58th minute, Bernt Andersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Örebro SK's Einar Tunström got control of the ball when Bernt Andersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl-Ove Lundkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charles Lindgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Charles Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Lundkvist in the 80th minute of play. Charles Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Nässén in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Karl-Ove Lundkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Örebro SK's Einar Tunström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Örebro SK from getting a goal against them. Henrik Nässén charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in Älta RK's zone, Karl-Ove Lundkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Lindgren came out of the goal and Karl-Ove Lundkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Örebro SK booed when Älta RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Molander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Örebro SK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Älta RK for a fine match.
