Karl-Ove Thedin might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jim Lindqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Ove Thedin ran back to his position shaking his head. Stig-Åke Apelquist kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 23 minutes, Håkan Biörk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Klövsjö BK and the Timmernabben IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Klövsjö BK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Håkan Biörk hit a great ball. Klövsjö BK's Alf Arenstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Fanström in the 26th minute of play. Karl-Michael Söderberg hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Alf Arenstedt came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Timmernabben IFK's Mats Fanström. But to his dismay, Mats Fanström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Freddie Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Alf Arenstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Berggren in the 35th minute of play forced Klövsjö BK's goalkeeper Alf Arenstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Klövsjö BK's goalkeeper Alf Arenstedt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Isak Svanér hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Klövsjö BK's Gilbert Hylander got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Karl-Michael Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Eric Nyström made the kick off in the second half. Klövsjö BK were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Timmernabben IFK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kennet Valström took the corner. The corner led Klövsjö BK's Kennet Valström to fire away a dangerous shot which Jim Lindqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Karl-Ove Thedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Ove Thedin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jim Lindqvist having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddie Berggren got free with Alf Arenstedt in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Timmernabben IFK booed when Klövsjö BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Biörk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alf Arenstedt made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Mats Fanström sent off a good shot on target. Timmernabben IFK's Freddie Berggren got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eric Nyström kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Alf Arenstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Berggren in the 70th minute of play. Alf Arenstedt was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Freddie Berggren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Freddie Berggren really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Alf Arenstedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mats Fanström in the 83rd minute. Timmernabben IFK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
