Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Christian Rosendahl made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Rosendahl in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fritz Tunström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fritz Tunström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Rosendahl in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Rune Rang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Horndal and the Hovshaga AIF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rune Rang kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Christian Rosendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fritz Tunström having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Vilhelm Algren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fritz Tunström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horndal's Fritz Tunström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Algren in the 24th minute of play. Christian Rosendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fritz Tunström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Horndal's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Algren came free, but Fritz Tunström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes Horndal got a freekick which was hit by Yngve Björk. After 34 played minutes Hovshaga AIF got a freekick which was hit by Christian Rosendahl. In the 38th match minute, Horndal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörn Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Zebastian Forsell sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fritz Tunström skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Hovshaga AIF getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Orvar Nordin hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rune Rang got free with Gilbert Liljeström in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jörn Olofsson charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jörn Olofsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, Hovshaga AIF's Zebastian Forsell tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yngve Björk to strike the kick off in the second half. Christian Rosendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, Hovshaga AIF's Jens-Erik Blom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fritz Tunström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 62 minutes, Orvar Nordin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hovshaga AIF and the Horndal players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Hovshaga AIF booed when Horndal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yngve Björk didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Horndal's Fritz Tunström got control of the ball when Vilhelm Algren tried to sneak it across the goal line.
