The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kjell Wallgren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Kjell Wallgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Kennet Valström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lingon Imperiets IF's Leo Mattsson didn't even have to move. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lingon Imperiets IF's goalkeeper Leo Mattsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Lingon Imperiets IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Wallgren to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Lingon Imperiets IF's zone, Karl-Ove Thedin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Mattsson came out of the goal and Karl-Ove Thedin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Folke Elg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karl-Ove Thedin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Leo Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Nyström in the 25th minute of play forced Lingon Imperiets IF's goalkeeper Leo Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Tony Sandell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Mattsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Ove Thedin went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Folke Elg got free with Alf Arenstedt in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Thedin in the 37th minute of play forced Lingon Imperiets IF's goalkeeper Leo Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Folke Elg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Arenstedt having to interfere. Alf Arenstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Sandell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Sandell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Klövsjö BK defense, Folke Elg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alf Arenstedt. The Klövsjö BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alf Arenstedt should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tony Sandell made a kick off. Harald Löfskog hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the game, Tony Sandell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Alf Arenstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Ove Thedin got free with Leo Mattsson in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, Karl-Ove Thedin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Klövsjö BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to Klövsjö BK getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Håkan Biörk hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Karl-Ove Thedin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Mattsson. Lingon Imperiets IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Ove Thedin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Thedin in the 79th minute of play forced Lingon Imperiets IF's goalkeeper Leo Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Lingon Imperiets IF's Leo Mattsson got control of the ball when Karl-Ove Thedin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl-Ove Thedin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Karl-Ove Thedin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Klövsjö BK's Eric Nyström got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Eric Nyström took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Leo Mattsson to make any attempt to save it. When Kjell Wallgren was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. The supporters of Klövsjö BK booed when Lingon Imperiets IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Wallgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kennet Valström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Klövsjö BK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
