Timmernabben IFK's Mats Fanström got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mats Fanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mats Fanström struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Gilbert Liljeström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timmernabben IFK. 15 minutes into the match, Mats Fanström notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hovshaga AIF's Gilbert Liljeström. Gilbert Liljeström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute, Zebastian Forsell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 played minutes Timmernabben IFK got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Söderberg. Vilhelm Algren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Rosendahl in the 26th minute of the match. Vilhelm Algren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Lindqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Mats Fanström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Gilbert Liljeström made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Mats Fanström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilbert Liljeström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Timmernabben IFK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zebastian Forsell was slow to take the kick. During this time Hovshaga AIF's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 44 minutes, Mats Fanström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timmernabben IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mats Fanström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mats Fanström shot from long distance in the 46th minute, but Gilbert Liljeström was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mats Fanström to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Hovshaga AIF got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Carlberg. Gilbert Liljeström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Berggren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Timmernabben IFK booed when Hovshaga AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Rosendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mats Fanström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilbert Liljeström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Fanström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrik Håkansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilbert Liljeström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrik Håkansson ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Mats Fanström put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gilbert Liljeström. 78 minutes into the game, Mats Fanström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Gilbert Liljeström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 81 minutes into the match, Hovshaga AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Håkansson came free, but Gilbert Liljeström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrik Håkansson scored 5-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilbert Liljeström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Patrik Håkansson notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Hovshaga AIF's Gilbert Liljeström. Gilbert Liljeström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Timmernabben IFK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
