Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eric Nyström kicked off to start the match. After 7 played minutes Newcastle United got a freekick which was hit by Torgny Dalman. 11 minutes into the match, Klövsjö BK's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Nilsson came free, but Alf Arenstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Nyström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Östen Kellman having to interfere. When Eric Nyström came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Klövsjö BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Nyström couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute Mattias Nordgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Arenstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Östen Kellman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Ove Thedin in the 21st minute. Östen Kellman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Nyström in the 22nd minute of play. Eric Nyström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Klövsjö BK's Eric Nyström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Östen Kellman. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. A collision led to Klövsjö BK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ingvar Linquist hit a great ball. Aaron Lövskog was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alf Arenstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Nordgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle United's zone, Karl-Ove Thedin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Östen Kellman came out of the goal and Karl-Ove Thedin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Karl-Ove Thedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johannes Nilsson made a kick off. Ingvar Linquist's late challenge caught a Newcastle United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingvar Linquist helped the player get up and apologised. Ingvar Linquist hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Johannes Nilsson struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Alf Arenstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle United. Östen Kellman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Thedin in the 85th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Östen Kellman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klövsjö BK's Alf Arenstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Klövsjö BK from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute, Eric Nyström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Klövsjö BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Klövsjö BK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
