Spectators: 7211 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Långserud IF's Carl Alén started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Patrick Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leif Enegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Alén in the 11th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 13 minutes into the game, when Stellan Vallin put in a rough tackle. After 19 minutes of play, FC Miran's Karl-Åke Gråberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Gallin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrick Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Gallin having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Carl Alén took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Leif Enegren to make any attempt to save it. Michael Skräddare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Gallin having to interfere. André Vassenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Richard Gallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johan Kvalfält kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. FC Miran's Leif Enegren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save FC Miran from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrick Åkesson to make the kick off. Richard Gallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Michael Skräddare managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Miran's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael Skräddare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Gallin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the game, Folke Lång was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Långserud IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Miran the free kick. In the 62nd match minute, Långserud IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Lång to maneuver through the defense. Richard Gallin made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Michael Skräddare sent off a good shot on target. Carl Alén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Leif Enegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, FC Miran's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Lång came free, but Leif Enegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Patrick Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Folke Lång was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 77 minutes had been played. Folke Lång kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Richard Gallin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Evert Nordin. Patrick Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Richard Gallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd play minute André Vassenius came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Richard Gallin. 2-2. Johan Kvalfält's late challenge caught a FC Miran's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johan Kvalfält helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Långserud IF got a freekick which was hit by Johan Kvalfält. 87 minutes into the match, Långserud IF's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Kock came free, but Richard Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute FC Miran were awarded a corner. Evert Nordin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to FC Miran's Edvin Lindström getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Långserud IF's Richard Gallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Kock in the 91st minute of play. After 95 played minutes Patrick Åkesson rounded Långserud IF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. FC Miran played a much better game than Långserud IF and deserved their victory. The Långserud IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
