After 9 minutes, Kurt Wiberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vinča FC and the Dahlby´s IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jon Hultstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Ödmann was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vinča FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Jon Hultstrand scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patric Sörman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jon Hultstrand who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Patric Sörman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Verner Ekeroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörn Frykberg having to interfere. Algot Odén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jörn Frykberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Dahlby´s IK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jonny Wik hit a great ball. After the first half Dahlby´s IK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jon Hultstrand made the kick off in the second half. Jon Hultstrand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Magnus Bålström thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Patric Sörman, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 2-2. Jon Hultstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dahlby´s IK's Nils Pettersson got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, Verner Ekeroth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dahlby´s IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vinča FC the free kick. If Nils Pettersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Algot Odén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jörn Frykberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Bengt-Rune Österlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
