The referee showed Alex Gregersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Gråbo got a freekick which was hit by Alex Gregersson. Håkan Hägg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Sonny Fredriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stellan Anselius was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Volksturm 45's goalkeeper Stellan Anselius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Håkan Hägg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gråbo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Håkan Hägg made a kick off. Sonny Fredrikssons short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Stellan Anselius to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gråbo's Håkan Hägg got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Håkan Hägg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stellan Anselius. That made the score 0-6 in the 62 minute of play. Stellan Anselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Hägg, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Volksturm 45's goalkeeper Stellan Anselius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sonny Fredriksson. In the 69th minute, Håkan Hägg had to leave the field with a concussion. Eddie Högman charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eddie Högman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Volksturm 45:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gråbo:s goal. The referee gave Gråbo a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Per-Olof Vallin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Volksturm 45's Stellan Anselius. 0-7. In the 80th minute of the match, Sonny Fredriksson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stellan Anselius was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Sonny Fredriksson struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Stellan Anselius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gråbo. Sonny Fredriksson scored 0-8 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stellan Anselius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sonny Fredrikssons short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Stellan Anselius to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Gråbo booed when Volksturm 45 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Stenqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Gregersson hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Gråbo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
