Svante Lönn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Rosen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nygård IK's Rune Uggla in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vemhån IK's goalie prevented a goal. If Rune Uggla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vemhån IK's Andréas Kielberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Uggla in the 13th minute of play. Rune Uggla might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andréas Kielberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rune Uggla ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 18 minutes, Peter Ålberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nygård IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Ålberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andréas Kielberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Mattsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Rune Uggla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Ålberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rune Uggla took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andréas Kielberg. Andréas Kielberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 46 played minutes Nygård IK got a freekick which was hit by Sverker Petersson. The Vemhån IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nygård IK were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josef Hagström to make the kick off. Vemhån IK's Andréas Kielberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Vemhån IK from getting a goal against them. In the 52nd minute, Stefan Mattsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stefan Mattsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andréas Kielberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Peter Ålberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Andréas Kielberg made a huge save. If Peter Ålberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Uggla in the 65th minute of play forced Vemhån IK's goalkeeper Andréas Kielberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustav Björkkvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andréas Kielberg. Vemhån IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Peter Ålberg took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andréas Kielberg. Andréas Kielberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Rune Uggla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Ålberg took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andréas Kielberg. Andréas Kielberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Rune Ugglas short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Andréas Kielberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 87 minutes into the match, Vemhån IK's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Uggla came free, but Andréas Kielberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Ålberg got free with Andréas Kielberg in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Uggla in the 91st minute of play forced Vemhån IK's goalkeeper Andréas Kielberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Rune Uggla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andréas Kielberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Vemhån IK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nygård IK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
