Spectators: 7281 (Terracing: 5463, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) Virserum BF's Arne Dahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Salkvist in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Virserum BF's zone, Lennart Salkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Dahlberg came out of the goal and Lennart Salkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arne Dahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Lennart Salkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arne Dahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Waller in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Virserum BF got a freekick which was hit by Alex Lindell. Arne Dahlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart Salkvist in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Kusmark IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Waller to maneuver through the defense. Kusmark IFK's Lennart Salkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lennart Salkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Dahlberg having to interfere. Lennart Salkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ingvar Waller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Dahlberg was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the match, Lennart Salkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arne Dahlberg. Virserum BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Salkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Arne Dahlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Waller in the 49th minute of the match. The Virserum BF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kusmark IFK were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Karl Johansson made the kick off in the second half. When Lennart Salkvist came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Kusmark IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Salkvist couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Sören Alefors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kusmark IFK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matthias Vester in the 65th minute. Sören Holm hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Arne Dahlberg was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Lennart Salkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lennart Salkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Åke Dahlman in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils Strömqvist saved Kusmark IFK from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lennart Salkvist got free with Arne Dahlberg in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arne Dahlberg made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Lennart Salkvist sent off a good shot on target. When Jan-Åke Dahlman came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Virserum BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Åke Dahlman couldn't finish the play. Ingvar Waller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Dahlberg having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Ingvar Waller got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 94 minutes into the match, Virserum BF's goalkeeper Arne Dahlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lennart Salkvist.
