An unexpectedly hard shot by Folke Hansson in the 6th minute of play forced Skånelaget's goalkeeper Jimmie Skog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Nyström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mattias Hellström in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Philip Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Nyström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stigtomta IF's Victor Nyström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Stigtomta IF from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattias Hellström got free with Victor Nyström in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Skånelaget's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Cane came free, but Jimmie Skog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Pelle Hääger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skånelaget's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stigtomta IF the free kick. In the 21st minute, Pelle Hääger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Folke Hansson struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Jimmie Skog didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stigtomta IF. 28 minutes into the game, Stigtomta IF's Benjamin Cane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimmie Skog made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jimmie Skog came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Stigtomta IF's Benjamin Cane. But to his dismay, Benjamin Cane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mattias Hellström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Victor Nyström made a huge save. The Skånelaget players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stigtomta IF were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Cane made a kick off. Claes Hägert's late challenge caught a Skånelaget's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claes Hägert helped the player get up and apologised. 53 minutes into the game, one of Stigtomta IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Stigtomta IF getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Mark Lövskog hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Stigtomta IF defense, Philip Lundin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Nyström. The Stigtomta IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Nyström should have stopped the shot. Stigtomta IF's Victor Nyström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Hellström in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mattias Hellström in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Nyström saved Stigtomta IF from getting behind. A collision led to Skånelaget getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Mattias Hellström hit a great ball. Benjamin Cane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Cane got free with Jimmie Skog in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Skånelaget's Yngve Pihlwall got a free kick in the 81st minute. Benjamin Cane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmie Skog having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Skånelaget's goalkeeper Jimmie Skog had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Cane. With a little luck, Skånelaget's Jimmie Skog got control of the ball when Benjamin Cane tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Benjamin Cane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stigtomta IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Cane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mattias Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Nyström having to interfere. 98 minutes into the game, Christopher Blom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skånelaget's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stigtomta IF the free kick. Christopher Blom hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
