After a defensive mix-up in Älvsbyn IK's zone, Rutger Kinnman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Överman came out of the goal and Rutger Kinnman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Örjan Lundqvist came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Bacchi Härolder fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Örjan Lundqvist couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Olof Melin during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Örjan Lundqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacchi Härolder's supporters rose to their feet, but Örjan Lundqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. August Överman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bacchi Härolder's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
