Örjan Lundqvist started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Millennium if booed when Bacchi Härolder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rutger Kinnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kent Mattsson during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 11 minutes into the match, Örjan Lundqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viggo Persson. Millennium if's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Örjan Lundqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A hard shot 16 in the game by Örjan Lundqvist from a close distance when the talented Viggo Persson managed to make a qualified save. Millennium if's players were relieved. If Rutger Kinnman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elliot Bolin came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Millennium if's Stig-Ove Alstedt. But to his dismay, Stig-Ove Alstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Örjan Lundqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Viggo Persson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Bacchi Härolder's Örjan Lundqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viggo Persson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rutger Kinnman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Viggo Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Engström kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddie Hult made a kick off. When Max Melberg came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Bacchi Härolder fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Melberg couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute, Rutger Kinnman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Millennium if's Viggo Persson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örjan Lundqvist in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Örjan Lundqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bacchi Härolder's supporters crossed their fingers, but Örjan Lundqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Bacchi Härolder booed when Millennium if was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Mattsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viggo Persson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Örjan Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Rutger Kinnman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingvar Olsman during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ingvar Olsman hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes, Bacchi Härolder's Claes Svanér shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Viggo Persson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bacchi Härolder reached it. Örjan Lundqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Viggo Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Millennium if getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Stig-Ove Alstedt hit a great ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Örjan Lundqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Millennium if's Viggo Persson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stig-Ove Alstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Rutger Kinnman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viggo Persson. Millennium if's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Örjan Lundqvist in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viggo Persson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 played minutes Bacchi Härolder got a freekick which was hit by Örjan Lundqvist. Stig-Ove Alstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig-Ove Alstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Stig-Ove Alstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Örjan Lundqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viggo Persson having to make a save. Bacchi Härolder's Rutger Kinnman got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bacchi Härolder had played much better football throughout.
