Spectators: 6665 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Michael Nyqvist started the match with the kick off. Vessigebro IF's Johan Gunnarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Vessigebro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Nyqvist came free, but Karl-Erik Skoglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Vinström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Karl-Erik Skoglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Michael Nyqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torsten Danielsson hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Michael Nyqvist made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Erik Skoglund. Vessigebro IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Michael Nyqvist came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Sundborn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Nyqvist couldn't finish the play. Karl-Erik Skoglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Vinström in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Edgar Vinström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vessigebro IF's Karl-Erik Skoglund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexander Paulin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Vessigebro IF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Lars-Erik Holmgren fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundborn's protests and gave Lars-Erik Holmgren a yellow card for diving instead. 30 minutes into the game, one of Sundborn:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Michael Nyqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Erik Skoglund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michael Nyqvist went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Karl-Erik Skoglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Vinström in the 43rd minute of play. If Edgar Vinström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johan Gunnarsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Edgar Vinström notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Vessigebro IF's Karl-Erik Skoglund. Karl-Erik Skoglund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 58 minutes into the game, Anton Wennerquist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sundborn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vessigebro IF the free kick. After 59 played minutes Sundborn got a freekick which was hit by Anton Wennerquist. Johan Gunnarsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrik Sjögren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Charles Finnman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Skoglund having to interfere. Edgar Vinström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Michael Nyqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vessigebro IF's Karl-Erik Skoglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Nyqvist in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute Michael Nyqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Skoglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Vinström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Skoglund having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Nyqvist in the 86th minute of play forced Vessigebro IF's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Skoglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alexander Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Vinström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Skoglund having to interfere. Sundborn played a much better game than Vessigebro IF and deserved their victory. The Vessigebro IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
