Marklarians's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Killeberg RK the free kick. Killeberg RK's Vincent Åkerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulf Arhenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Killeberg RK defense, Stig Skoglund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Haraldsson. The Killeberg RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Haraldsson should have stopped the shot. When Ulf Arhenius came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Marklarians fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Arhenius couldn't finish the play. Daniel Haraldsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Arhenius in the 41st minute of the match.
