Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Sörsjön's Leif Löfskog started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, Sörsjön's Michael Vennerlund threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Staffan Bengtsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 9 minutes into the game, Melker Tillman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sörsjön's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Die Mannschaft the free kick. 8 minutes into the game, one of Sörsjön:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Die Mannschaft. Anders Sundström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christer Svanér. 0-1. In the 17th minute Leif Löfskog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Vennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes, Michael Bruhn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sörsjön and the Die Mannschaft players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Michael Bruhn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Jarl Blixt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Christer Svanér was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henric Rudberg kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Die Mannschaft's zone, Leif Löfskog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Vennerlund came out of the goal and Leif Löfskog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute Leif Löfskog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Vennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Bäckström hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Jarl Blixt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Die Mannschaft's Michael Vennerlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Löfskog in the 38th minute of play. Michael Vennerlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Löfskog in the 40th minute of play. Elof Hellkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarl Blixt in the 46th minute of play forced Sörsjön's goalkeeper Christer Svanér to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Die Mannschaft's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anders Sundström in the 48th minute.

Henry Matsson hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Christer Svanér stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarl Blixt's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Christer Svanér acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rasmus Gustafsson. Elof Hellkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Christer Svanér made a huge save. In the 82nd minute Leif Löfskog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Vennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Egon Åkesson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Michael Vennerlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Egon Åkesson scored 2-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Vennerlund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Egon Åkesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Vennerlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Die Mannschaft's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
