Jacob FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tullinge the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Tullinge's Villiam Danielsson tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tullinge's zone, Roy Lidberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Kvick came out of the goal and Roy Lidberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute Markus Walroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Kvick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Jacob FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krister Arenstedt to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Bengt Vedholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tullinge's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt Vedholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hannes Ekström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Markus Walroth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacob FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Hydén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Michael Hydén managed to get in a good position for a shot.
