After 9 played minutes Dingle got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Söderquist. A collision led to Dingle getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jan Billström hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Dingle's Birger Rolfsson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Elof Hellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Hansson couldn't finish the play. When Henric Rudberg fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Die Mannschaft's protests and gave Henric Rudberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Henric Rudberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birger Rolfsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gösta Hansson to strike the kick off in the second half. Michael Vennerlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Hansson in the 51st minute of the match. Die Mannschaft's Michael Vennerlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Billström in the 53rd minute of play. Gösta Hansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Vennerlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Dingle booed when Die Mannschaft was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Bäckström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Jan Billström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dingle's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Billström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Vennerlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute Gösta Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Vennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gösta Hansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Vennerlund was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Jan Billström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Dingle's Kjell Västlund got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Gösta Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Jan Billström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Vennerlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0.
