In the 4th minute, one of Dario xXx:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dario xXx. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Jacob FC's Kåre Bure got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Emanuel Hedlund. The supporters of Jacob FC booed when Dario xXx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Tinglöv didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Knut Harman notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Jacob FC's Hannes Ekström. Hannes Ekström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the match, Dario xXx's goal looked a bit too open when Kåre Bure came free, but Emanuel Hedlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingemar Sjögren kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Lars Kleen's late challenge caught a Jacob FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars Kleen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Lars Kleen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roy Lidberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Hedlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Bure in the 40th minute of play. Verner Linqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michael Hydén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Hedlund having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kåre Bure was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Lars Kleen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dario xXx fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Verner Linqvist struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Emanuel Hedlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jacob FC. When Jacob FC's Kåre Bure in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dario xXx's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 64 minutes, Knut Harman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dario xXx's supporters crossed their fingers, but Knut Harman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars Kleen kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Dario xXx's goal looked a bit too open when Kåre Bure came free, but Emanuel Hedlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Roger Rosen fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dario xXx's protests and gave Roger Rosen a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Dario xXx got a freekick which was hit by Roger Rosen. If Kåre Bure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Michael Hydén notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Dario xXx's Emanuel Hedlund. Emanuel Hedlund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacob FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
