In the 5th minute, Pontus Tidéksson made a precise shot to the right of Jimmie Svartengren. Radio Östergötland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Radio Östergötland's Robert Lund got a free kick in the 9th minute. Pontus Tidéksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmie Svartengren having to interfere. Jakob Lind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Stensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimmie Svartengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Åke Ahlén in the 21st minute of the match. Lucas Stensson took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jakob Lind. Jakob Lind dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Vilgot Trulsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Jimmie Svartengren made a huge save. Saxdalen FK's Vilgot Trulsson got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pontus Tidéksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josef Nyberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Lind having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Saxdalen FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Saxdalen FK:s Jakob Lind showed great skill when he stopped Reine Salkvist:s penalty. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vilgot Trulsson made a kick off. If Josef Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute Josef Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakob Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saxdalen FK's Jakob Lind proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Saxdalen FK from getting a goal against them. Saxdalen FK's Jakob Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Nyberg in the 63rd minute of play. Lucas Stensson might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jakob Lind. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Stensson ran back to his position shaking his head. Josef Nyberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Lind having to interfere. With a little luck, Saxdalen FK's Jakob Lind got control of the ball when Rasmus Bergendahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bo Unesson during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 played minutes Radio Östergötland got a freekick which was hit by Bo Unesson. Börje Bokelund charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Börje Bokelund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Börje Bokelund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Stenssons short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Jakob Lind to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jakob Lind made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Lucas Stensson sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 93 minutes, Vilgot Trulsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saxdalen FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilgot Trulsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jimmie Svartengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilgot Trulsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 98thth minute of the game Vilgot Trulsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Radio Östergötland's Jimmie Svartengren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Radio Östergötland's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
