Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jan-Erik Månsson made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Jan-Erik Månsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nybro BK's Paul Dahlgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stockholm United's Jan-Erik Månsson managed to work through Nybro BK's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jan-Erik Månsson dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Stockholm United's Jan-Erik Månsson in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nybro BK's goalie prevented a goal. Vilgot Eskilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Paul Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilgot Eskilsson in the 12th minute of play forced Nybro BK's goalkeeper Paul Dahlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Nybro BK's Gert Granberg got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nybro BK's zone, Jan-Erik Månsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Dahlgren came out of the goal and Jan-Erik Månsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nybro BK's goalkeeper Paul Dahlgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Nybro BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Granberg to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Erik Månsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Nybro BK booed when Stockholm United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Albom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sverker Asserlind kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Vilgot Eskilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Nybro BK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ingmar Bolin hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Jan-Erik Månsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stockholm United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Erik Månsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Dahlgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paul Dahlgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Erik Månsson went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Widberg made a kick off. Stefan Runberg hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ulf Johansson's late challenge caught a Stockholm United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulf Johansson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Stockholm United booed when Nybro BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Erik Månsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilgot Eskilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Paul Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Ingmar Bolin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nybro BK and the Stockholm United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ingmar Bolin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Nybro BK's goalkeeper Paul Dahlgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vilgot Eskilsson. Stockholm United's Sverker Asserlind shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Paul Dahlgren but with some difficulty. Viktor Fransson kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilgot Eskilsson got free with Paul Dahlgren in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vilgot Eskilsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Paul Dahlgren made a huge save. Paul Dahlgren was a little too slow when Jan-Erik Månsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-4. Vilgot Eskilsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paul Dahlgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vilgot Eskilsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute, Jan-Erik Månsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Paul Dahlgren, passed just outside the right post. Nybro BK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jan-Erik Månsson 97 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Stockholm United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
