Iggesund's Claes Haeger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Andreasson in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes, Söders Bröder's Alvar Siggman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claes Haeger came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Söders Bröder reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Andreasson in the 34th minute of play forced Iggesund's goalkeeper Claes Haeger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Söders Bröder's goalkeeper Patrik Eklund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Oskar Gunnarsson. Patrik Eklund stood somewhat misplaced when Alvin Alströmmer came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 45 minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iggesund's goalkeeper Claes Haeger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Einar Stigsson hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 72nd match minute, Iggesund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Lundqvist to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Oskar Gunnarsson in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Eklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Söders Bröder's Patrik Blom suffered a sore thigh after 83 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 83 minutes, Egil Nyman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iggesund and the Söders Bröder players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Söders Bröder's zone, Sven-Oskar Gunnarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 92nd minute Alvin Alströmmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rdth minute of the game Alvin Alströmmer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Söders Bröder's Patrik Eklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Söders Bröder players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Iggesund.
