When Stefan Mattsson fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anorak City's protests and gave Stefan Mattsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute Robert Rudkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Sjögren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaf Sjögren made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when David Deckberg sent off a good shot on target. Roger Andersson came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Anorak City's Stefan Mattsson. But to his dismay, Stefan Mattsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Rutger Kjellqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Anorak City's Robert Lindström made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Andersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 43 minutes into the match, Anorak City's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Rudkvist came free, but Gustaf Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as David Deckberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gustaf Sjögren. That made the score 1-3 in the 45 minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Roger Andersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Mattsson's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Robert Lindström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stefan Mattsson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Roger Andersson 65 minutes into the match. After 69 played minutes Anorak City got a freekick which was hit by Olof Tinglöf. Gustaf Sjögren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Deckberg's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Robert Lindström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anorak City's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Lindström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Andersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the game, Stefan Mattsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roger Andersson. Stefan Mattsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. When the final whistle sounded Anorak City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than K.L. FLAMENGO.
