Philip Pettersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnar Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Malm, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Einar Bergman in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunnar Ekström saved Lövestad from getting behind. 30 minutes into the game, Magne Klack was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lövestad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Billesholm BF the free kick. If Stig-Åke Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Ekström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Magne Klack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Lövestad's Gunnar Ekström got control of the ball when Einar Bergman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kevin Lundgren's late challenge caught a Billesholm BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Lundgren helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Lövestad got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Lundgren. Stig-Åke Hedlund struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Gunnar Ekström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Billesholm BF. Lövestad's Gunnar Ekström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Hedlund in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Billesholm BF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lövestad.
