Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jonas Hääger got the match started through his kick off. Åstorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixten Jakobsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute Jonas Hääger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Höviksnäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Dahlkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute of the match Fredric Finnman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but John Billström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tobias Bergström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dick Skålberg in the 33rd minute. Folke Böcklund's late challenge caught a Höviksnäs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Folke Böcklund helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, Åstorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Böcklund to maneuver through the defense. If Sixten Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonas Hääger received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tobias Bergström came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonas Hääger slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Sixten Jakobsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John Billström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Höviksnäs getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jonas Dahlkvist hit a great ball. In the 72nd match minute, Höviksnäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Dahlkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Höviksnäs's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sixten Jakobsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Torsten Wiberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78thth minute of the game Dick Skålberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åstorp's Tobias Bergström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Wiberg in the 83rd minute of play forced Höviksnäs's goalkeeper John Billström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Hääger in the 84th minute of play forced Åstorp's goalkeeper Tobias Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Bergström came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Höviksnäs's Jonas Hääger. But to his dismay, Jonas Hääger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. John Billström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Torsten Wiberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 88 minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Folke Böcklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Skålberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Torsten Wiberg notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Höviksnäs's John Billström. John Billström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
