After having played for 4 minutes, Johnny Forsman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallboda IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnny Forsman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute Johnny Forsman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Sandell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Henric Hägert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kurt Sandell. Myggan Bois's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henric Hägert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 24 played minutes Tallboda IF got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Forsman. Kurt Sandell was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from David Hylander. After having played for 37 minutes, Krister Smed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallboda IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Krister Smed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Tallboda IF booed when Myggan Bois was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Vennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henric Hägert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johnny Forsman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jonny Arvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sakarias Axelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 54th play minutes Fredric Lundqvist shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Sakarias Axelsson and just under the crossbar into goal. Jonny Arvidsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Fredric Lundqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sakarias Axelsson. That made the score 1-2 in the 67 minute of play. Kurt Sandell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Forsman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig-Åke Vester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Markus Lindqvist's late challenge caught a Tallboda IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Lindqvist helped the player get up and apologised. Stig-Åke Vester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Fredric Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnny Forsman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Sandell having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
