Evert Tomasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Petersson having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Markus Ugla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stig-Arne Petersson. Markus Ugla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Evert Tomasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Stig-Arne Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Pärlan Idrottsklubb defense, Ingvar Norberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixten Vallgren. The Pärlan Idrottsklubb fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixten Vallgren should have stopped the shot. Stig-Arne Petersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Ugla, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingvar Norberg to make the kick off. With a little luck, Pärlan Idrottsklubb's Sixten Vallgren got control of the ball when Elliott Hagberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Evert Tomasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pärlan Idrottsklubb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Tomasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 58 minutes, Knut Häger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacka IK and the Pärlan Idrottsklubb players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes Nacka IK got a freekick which was hit by Knut Häger. Markus Ugla struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Stig-Arne Petersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pärlan Idrottsklubb. Sixten Vallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Norberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Konrad Svensson fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pärlan Idrottsklubb's protests and gave Konrad Svensson a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Pärlan Idrottsklubb got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Svensson. Sixten Vallgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elliott Hagberg in the 73rd minute. Nacka IK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
